Warranty
What the warranty covers, and who stands behind it
You get the terms in writing before work starts, so you can read them with someone you trust.
There are two different promises on a roof, and they are easy to mix up. Ours is about the work. The material maker's is about the material.

Two warranties
Workmanship and material
Our workmanship warranty
It covers how we installed the roof. The length, the terms, the limits and what is not covered are all in your contract. Damage from storms, from other trades walking on the roof and from lack of upkeep is typically excluded, and we say so in writing.
The material warranty
The tile, shingle or metal maker gives its own warranty, with its own terms, limits and exclusions. We give you the paper and explain it. It is the maker's promise, not ours.
If something goes wrong
Call or write, and Araceli or Marco comes to look. We tell you what we find, and whether it is covered, with photos.

Questions
About the paperwork
Do I need a permit to replace my roof?
In most Valley cities a re-roof needs one. We tell you at the visit whether yours does, and your written estimate says who pulls it.
Can I cancel after I sign?
If you sign at home, you may have three business days to cancel. Your contract says how and where to send the notice.
What does the estimate include?
Tear-off and disposal, a deck check, underlayment, flashing, ridge, cleanup, and the warranty terms in writing. The estimate page lists every item and what is priced as an extra.
Want the terms before you decide?
Ask for a sample contract with your estimate.
