Roof replacement and repair in McAllen, Texas

Roofs for Valley families, in English and Spanish

Estrada Roofing is a family crew. We walk your roof with you, write the estimate down, and explain it in whichever language you like.

  • Spanish and English on the phone
  • A written estimate before any work
  • Harness and rope on every roof

    Inspections

    What the visit is

The family

Araceli Estrada writes your estimate herself

She is the owner and the estimator. She climbs up with you or looks from the ground, whichever you prefer.

Then she writes down what she saw, what each choice costs, and what she would do first if money is tight.

“What we tell you in English is what we tell you in Spanish. It is also what goes in the contract.”

Araceli Estrada, owner

Who speaks Spanish

  • Araceli, owner: English and Spanish

  • Marco, crew lead: English and Spanish

  • Natalia, office: English and Spanish

  • On the roof: Spanish with most of the crew

After a storm

Texas storm rules, in plain words

Texas law says what a roofer may and may not do when an insurance claim is involved. Here is how we follow it, in both languages.

  • You decide whether to file a claim

We never tell you to file one. We inspect, take photos and write an itemized estimate you can show your insurer if you choose to.

    • En español: usted decide, y usted habla con su aseguradora.

  • Your deductible stays yours

Texas law bars a roofer from paying, waiving or absorbing your deductible. We never offer to, and none of our prices is tied to a claim.

    • En español: el deducible lo paga usted, siempre.

  • We are not public adjusters

Texas bars contractors from adjusting your claim for you. We never negotiate it or promise what your insurer will pay.

    • En español: no negociamos su reclamo.

  • Temporary repairs first

Before the adjuster sees the roof, we make only temporary repairs, like a tarp, and keep the photos and receipts.

    • En español: solo una lona, hasta que el ajustador lo vea.

General information, not legal advice. Contracts paid from an insurance claim carry the notice Texas requires.

Your visit

What happens at your estimate

  1. 01

Step 1: You call, text or WhatsApp

Tell us the address, the roof type if you know it, and whether water is coming in. Photos from the ground help.

  2. 02

Step 2: We confirm a time

Natalia calls the day before, so you know when we are coming.

  3. 03

Step 3: A look from the ground

Araceli walks the yard and the roof edges and checks the gutters.

  4. 04

    Step 4: On the roof

She goes up in a harness and rope when it is safe. On steep roofs and on tile, which cracks underfoot, we send a drone instead.

  5. 05

    Step 5: The attic

If you let us in, we look from inside for daylight, stains and wet insulation.

  6. 06

    Step 6: Measuring

We measure the roof in squares and count the vents, pipes and valleys.

From customers

What neighbors say

“Marco's crew lifted every tile, put new underlayment down and set the same tiles back. Araceli explained it to my husband in Spanish and to our daughter in English.”

Lidia M.Tile roof re-laid

“The leak was at a vent pipe, not the whole roof. They fixed the pipe, sent me photos from up there, and the bill matched the estimate.”

Osvaldo V.Leak repair

“We are here from October to March and needed new shingles before we left. They gave us a date in writing and showed up on it.”
